For this Christmas special you'll get a hands-on introduction to the cyanotype printing process. We'll be making unique greeting cards, inspired by the season. Using pre-sensitized papers, you will get to make your own compositions for 4 greeting cards, using a mix of dried plants and items with interesting textures. You will learn how to expose the prints with a UV-light, as well as how to develop the prints in water. Cyanotype printing is a photographic process, invented in 1841, that uses iron-based chemicals, UV-light and water to create beautiful dark blue prints. It is easy, less toxic and less expensive than most other photographic print-making techniques. You don't need to have any previous experience, anyone can participate. A cup of gløgg (mulled wine) or tea is also included in the price. Unfortunately the venue is not wheelchair-friendly. Your ticket includes: - Admission to a 2h Cyanotype workshop suitable for all ages and all levels - Step by step instructions in how to create interesting cyanotype compositions - 4 of your own original greeting cards (+ white envelopes) - A cup of gløgg (mulled wine) or tea Private and Group Bookings, Please Note: If you would like this experience to take place at your location, drinks (gløgg) are not included in the booking price and there might be an extra transpiration fee depending on your location.
