During November and December Copenhagen transforms into a Christmas fairytale with beautiful lights and decorations all over town. One of the main attractions are the Christmas markets, which are buzzing with the joy of Christmas.
To eternalise the festivities with the Christmas spirit in a photo, one needs to think very carefully of how to do so. In this photography workshop, I will walk you through Copenhagen during the festive season showing you how to tell the story of the location and capture the essence of the scene.
The workshop will take place in inner Copenhagen, starting at the Christmas market on Kongens Nytorv. After this we will walk our way through Copenhagen onto Højbroplads and to other relevant Christmas markets that might pop up during this year's festive season.
The main goal is for you to learn techniques on how to capture photos during this season. Especially how to capture emotions in a photo. But also how to frame your photo using the available light from the festive decorations.
As this experience is during winter where light is limited, it is required to have a modern smartphone to take pictures during this workshop. If you are bringing a DSLR/Mirrorless, you should consider having a prime lens with f/1.8 (maybe up to 2.8).
This workshop is designed to suit all levels and all interests, from beginner to advanced.
I look forward to you joining me!
