After working for 12 years as a fashion designer and living on 3 continents, I decided to change career and settle in Copenhagen which is where I started creating my wood Mosaics. Being self-taught enabled me to explore wood from a different aspect, creating new techniques to express myself in a unique way. My Mosaics are who I am, a combination of geometric lines from my indigenous Brazilian ancestry with the minimalist vision of Danish society. I love the whole process, from transforming a piece of raw wood into beautiful symmetric lines to creating new designs digitally. The idea for this workshop is to let participants experience the sensations that I have while creating a Mosaic and help express themselves through art.
