I’m Julia Holm, a textile artist and founder of Tufting Studio in Malling, just south of Aarhus. At my studio, you can take part in cozy tufting workshops, where you design and create your very own rug or wall art from scratch. My craft is tufting – a modern technique where yarn is transformed into soft, colorful artworks that bring warmth and personality to any space. Since I began tufting in 2021, I’ve had the pleasure of guiding over 1,000 participants through creative workshops where everyone – regardless of experience – gets the chance to create their own unique piece. I draw inspiration from nature’s shapes, everyday colors, and playful contrasts, and I love sharing the calm and joy that come from creating with your hands. For me, it’s not just about the finished result, but about the experience, the focus, and the pride that come from making something truly your own. My workshops are for anyone who wants to try something new, unleash their creativity, and take home a personal memory – one tufted artwork at a time.
