Hi, I am Sara. I am a Copenhagen-based designer specializing in creating functional sculptures primarily using ceramics. My work primarily focuses on crafting pieces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also large enough to be used as seats or small tables. With a background in fashion and art illustrations, I embarked on my journey in ceramics back in 2009. However, it took me over a decade to truly discover my passion and purpose within the medium. I draw inspiration from the juxtaposition of organic shapes with grotesque volume, aiming to infuse my pieces with forced functionality. When you invite my sculptures into your living space, I hope they provoke thought and conversation, creating a distinct disruption within your surroundings. My intention is for you to not only appreciate these pieces visually but also to interact with them on a personal level, fostering a unique connection.
