About the Experience

Level: beginner

Type: workshop

Welcome to a captivating experience where we will capture the city through ink and watercolor from my home at Christianshavn. During this this experience, we will each create a personal version of the iconic Rundetårn from central Copenhagen. Step-by-step, I will guide you through the process from blank paper to a finished work of art for you to bring back home. The goal is to capture the building in your personal style and the atmosphere you feel around the building. The intention is not to create a 1:1 resemblance of the real deal - that’s what we have cameras for. The more kinks and quirks the better in this class! The program for the evening is: • Introduction incl. my story as an artist and where the passion to save memories through ink and watercolor comes from • What to keep in mind when drawing a building • Basic principles of watercolor painting • Drawing and painting Looking forward to spending the evening with you! Ticket Includes: • Admission to a 3 h watercolor painting experience • Step by step drawing and painting instructions for everyone to follow • A welcome drink (non-alcoholic) • Watercolor paper • Pencils for sketching • Waterproof ink • Watercolors • Paint brushes • A beautiful and original painting to take home The materials are yours to borrow during the evening but if you have your own cool gear, please feel free to bring that! The workshop will be conducted in English and/or Danish depending on the participants.
